Rumors are going around that Jet Li and Jackie Chan are going to star in a Journey to the West movie directed by Steven Spielberg. However, according to Yahoo movies, "Spielberg is not working on a journey to the west film."

Transformers Webcast Report! (8/18/2006)
Transformer writers Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtz held a live webcast earlier today. In it, they announced the names of the transformers and answered many fan questions. The confirmed list for the movie is:

Optimus Prime
Bumblebee
Jazz
Ratchet
Ironhide
Decepticons:
Megatron
Starscream
Brawl
Bonecrusher
Barricade
Scorpinok
Frenzy
Blackout

Wachowski Brothers Ready to Start Work on Speed Racer Live Action Movie (8/16/2006)
Yes that’s right the Wachowski brothers are ready and set to start working on the live action movie for Speed Racer. All they need now is the greenlight from Warner Bros. to start working on the project. Vince Vaughn, the actor that proposed the idea a little over 2 years ago has said that he still wants to work on the project as Racer X.

New Images and a New Video on the Transformers Movie! (8/16/2006)
Well today we have a lot of information on the Transformers movie. First up, we have a short slide show found on youtube. It shows pictures of Optimus Prime, a vehicle that could possibly be Ratchet, and what seems to be a foot of one of the Transformers, msot likely Optimus Prime's. And finally, courtesy tfw2005.com, we have pictures of what may be the first of Optimus Prime in his robot form. It is currently unknown if these are the real deal, but we will keep you posted as more information is released.
Possibly Some Very Big News in the near future on the Evangelion Movie. (8/16/2006)
Yep that’s right keep an eye on the next issue of NewType they’re saying they’ll have a big scoop on Evangelion in there next issue and with the long time between the last news we got we wouldn’t be surprised at all if this would be a big announcement on the development of the live action movie. But this could turn out to be another form of good news. There are also rumors going around that this could be an announcement of a new Evangelion anime in the works. So like I said before keep checking back here to see what the news was all about.

Air Force Information, Possible Decepticon?! (8/5/2006)
“On my recent TDY to Hurlburt Field, FL I was attached to the 16th Special operations Squadron who fly’s the AC-130U Spectre Gunship into battle against all of our nations unfortunate foes. While attached I came across some useful information for you people looking forward to the transformers film. Earlier this summer the film studio contacted the Air Force in reference to having a C-130 fly at the set in order for shooting. Their intention was to get some shots of it and modify it into a AC-130 via CG effects, however the Air Force found a simpler solution by sending a AC-130 from the 16th. So I will confirm that there will be a AC-130 in the transformers film. However I cannot state whether if it is an actual transformer. I am also inclined to think that there is an MH-53 Pave Low II (helicopter) that is actually a deceptacon in the film. Here are some pictures of the aircraft if you are not familiar with them. This just goes to show the Air Forces great involvement in the film.”

I received this in an email tonight from my cousin who is Training in the air force in Colorado, he's around most of the major air force things going on including the machines there using in the film. Hope you guys get a kick out of this.

Site Updates Plus Transformers News (8/2/2006)
Today I updated all of the movie sections except DragonBall Z. I've added pictures to both Transformers and Evangelion, with help from Amanz, and put up new information in the battle Angel and Transformers sections as well.
In Transformers news, it seems that Ironhide has been revealed. Thanks to Jalopnik.com for the info. Here's a picture of the sort of vehicle Ironhide will be:
It seems to be a GMC Top Kick C4500 4WD Crew Cab. Even though Ironhide used to be a red van in the original series, this still seems to be in fact Ironhide noted by the Autobot insignia on the truck itself. To see these pictures, visit HERE.
