One Piece Movie 8 Box Office Results (03/07/2007)
The 8th One Piece movie, Episode of Arabasta - The Desert Princess and the Pirates, premiered in Japan on Saturday. Over the weekend it took second place at the Japanese box office, behind Shinichiro Sawai's Genghis Khan: To the Ends of the Earth, which also premiered this past weekend.

Hellsing Staff to Attend Animagic in Germany (03/07/2007)
Germany's Animagic convention has announced several Japanese guests of honor: Hellsing's Kouta Hirano, Tomokazu Tokoro, Yasuyuki Ueda, Hideyuki Kurata, How to Draw Manga's Koh Kawarajima, and instant Teen's Haruka Fukushima. The convention will be held July 27-19 in Bonn.

Geneon to Release When They Cry - Higurashi (2007-03-05 23:59:00)
Geneon Entertainment will release When They Cry - Higurashi on June 5; there will be a regular edition and a limited edition with box release. Giant Gundam Lantern (2007-03-05 11:01:17)
A teaching assistant at the Department of Fine Arts, Taipei National University of Arts, has made a giant 1:2.5 scale Gundam RX-78 lantern for the annual Taipei Lantern Festival. Construction of the 7.5 meter tall (sitting) lantern, which will be on display until March 11th, was approved by the Taiwanese licensor of Gundam. Bleach Coming to Latin America (2007-03-05 09:17:34)
Viz Media is negotiating with a cable network to air Bleach in Latin America, according to International Licensing Manager Andrea Gonzalez. "Currently Bleach is being adapted from the version that is aired in the United States," Gonzalez said.
